What this site collects, and what happens to it.

The contact form

When you send the form on the contact page we receive your name, your phone number, your email address, the service you picked, your message, and the address of the page it was sent from. That is all the form collects.

The form is handled by Netlify, the company that hosts this site. Netlify stores each submission and emails it to the firm. We use it to reply to you and, if you become a client, to open your file. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Visit statistics and advertising

The site runs Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager. It tells us how many people visit, which pages they read, and roughly where they are. It does not tell us who you are.

The same Google Tag Manager container also carries a Google Ads conversion tag. It tells Google when a visit led to an enquiry, so we can see which advertisements are worth paying for. It reports that an enquiry happened, not what you wrote in it. Both tags set cookies in your browser and send information to Google, which processes it outside the United Arab Emirates. If your browser blocks these tags, or you use an ad blocker or your browser’s privacy settings, the site still works normally.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or trade your details to anyone.
• We do not read your message for advertising, and we do not send its contents to Google or to anyone else.
• We do not add you to a mailing list.

When the law requires us to share

We are an audit and accounting firm, which makes us a designated non-financial business under the United Arab Emirates anti money laundering rules. If we are required to report something, we must do so, and the law forbids us from telling you that we have. We must also give information to a regulator, a court, or the Federal Tax Authority when they lawfully require it. This is the one situation in which your information leaves the firm without your permission, and we cannot contract out of it.

How long we keep things

A contact form submission that does not become an engagement is deleted on request, and otherwise when it is no longer useful. If you become a client, we are required to keep your engagement records and identification documents for at least five years after the engagement ends, and we cannot delete those earlier even if you ask.

Asking for a copy, a correction, or deletion

Email info@cpaauditing.ae from the address you used and tell us what you want. You may ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. We will answer within 30 days. Where the retention rules above apply we will say so and explain why. If you are not satisfied with our answer you may complain to the United Arab Emirates Data Office.
