A CPA and audit firm in Dubai, for your UAE and US filings in one office.
Audit, tax and bookkeeping in the UAE, and US tax for anyone whose life or business touches the United States.
Who we work with
Three kinds of clients. One firm registered on the UAE side and led by a California licensed CPA.
Most firms in Dubai handle the UAE side. Most US expat firms handle the American side, online. We are registered on both sides and sit in one office, so nothing falls in the gap between them.
Companies in the UAE
Mainland and free zone companies that need an external audit for license renewal or corporate tax, a Tax Agent for their returns, and books that are kept audit-ready all year.
US citizens in the UAE and the Gulf
US citizens and green card holders who live or work here, including those who own a UAE company. The IRS still expects a return every year, plus the forms for foreign accounts and foreign companies.
UAE businesses with a US side
UAE residents who own a US LLC, UAE companies selling into the United States, and US groups with a Dubai subsidiary. The filings on both sides, coordinated by one firm so they agree.
Services
What we do, and where.
The UAE work is signed in Dubai under the firm's own registrations. The US returns and payroll are prepared and signed by our US associates in Dallas, Texas and Laguna Hills, California, and reviewed and coordinated from Dubai by the firm's California licensed CPA. The two groups below say which.
UAE services
External and internal audit
Audited financial statements under IFRS, for licence renewal, corporate tax, banks and investors. We audit mainland companies, and free zone companies whose authority accepts an auditor registered with the Ministry of Economy and Tourism. If your zone keeps its own approved list we tell you on the first call. Ministerial Decision 84 of 2025 sets who must audit. Internal audit reviews for owner-managed companies, scoped per engagement.
AuditCorporate tax
Registration, the annual return, small business relief, qualifying free zone status, transfer pricing disclosure. A return is due nine months after the year ends, so a December year end files by 30 September.
Corporate taxVAT and excise tax
VAT registration once you pass AED 375,000, quarterly returns, refunds, and voluntary disclosures when something was filed wrong. Excise tax registration and monthly returns for anyone importing, making or holding excise goods.
VAT and exciseBookkeeping and CFO support
Monthly books in Zoho or QuickBooks, payroll, management accounts, and a CFO on call. Kept audit-ready, because the same firm audits.
BookkeepingSustainability reporting
IFRS S1 and S2 first reports, GRI reports when a bank or a buyer asks for one, and limited assurance signed by a licensed auditor.
SustainabilityAdvisory
Feasibility studies for a bank, a free zone or an investor. AML compliance for designated businesses under Federal Decree-Law 10 of 2025. GRI Standards certified training and a short ESG course for executives.
AdvisoryLiquidation audit
Closing a UAE company stops at one document. We prepare the liquidation financial statements and the liquidator’s report, and we say at the start whether the licence authority will accept ours.
Liquidation auditTax Residency Certificate
The certificate that lets you use a double tax treaty. Three ways to qualify as a UAE tax resident, and only one of them counts days to 183.
Tax Residency CertificateCertificates
Net worth, turnover and capital verification certificates, and agreed-upon procedures. A certificate is not a small audit and it carries no opinion, which is exactly why it has to be signed by someone registered.
CertificatesFTA penalties
A notice has arrived, or you found the error first. Voluntary disclosure, reconsideration and the weeks in between, handled by a registered Tax Agent who can be linked to your account.
FTA penaltiesUS services
US tax for US citizens and green card holders
Form 1040, FBAR, FATCA, Form 5471 for a UAE company, streamlined filing for missed years, ITIN applications. Prepared and signed by our US associates, reviewed from Dubai.
US taxUS business tax and payroll
Forms 1120, 1120-S and 1065 with K-1s, multi-state returns, California sales tax, 1099-NEC filings, US payroll with Forms 941, 940 and W-2, and audit support for American CPA firms. Prepared and signed by the associates.
US businessWhy this firm
Five differences you can check.
- 01
The UAE side and the US side are one firm's work.
Our Tax Agent signs the UAE returns in Dubai. Our US associates prepare and sign the US returns, reviewed here by a California licensed CPA. Both are built from the same numbers, so there is no second firm to blame when the two do not agree.
- 02
The people who sign are the people you deal with.
The partner who quotes an engagement is the one who reads the file and signs the report. On the US side that same partner reviews the return before the associates sign it.
- 03
The figure holds unless the work changes.
One fixed fee in writing, within one business day of seeing the trade license and last year's accounts or return. It covers the whole engagement, and anything that falls outside it is priced before it starts.
- 04
Four registrations, two of them on a public register.
Dubai license 1206648, Ministry of Economy and Tourism auditor LC4409-01, FTA Tax Agent TAAN 20024196, California CPA 147070. The FTA register of tax agents and the California Board of Accountancy record are open to anyone.
- 05
Where we keep the books, we do not sign the audit.
Independence rules do not allow a firm to audit statements it prepared itself. Where a client wants both, we say which of the two we can do before the engagement letter, not after.
How it works
Three steps.
Send us what you have.
Your license, last year's accounts or return, and the question you are trying to answer.
A fixed quote within one business day.
No hourly billing. If the scope changes we quote the change in writing before doing it.
Signed and filed by the date we agreed.
The audit report, the filed return or the monthly accounts, with a plain-English note on what is due next.
The promise
We read every file ourselves, we quote before we start, and our name goes on the report. We track every filing date on the engagement and tell you in writing when a deadline is at risk. How the firm works
About the firm
Small on purpose. Registered where it counts.
ANCPA Auditing L.L.C was founded in Dubai in 2023 by a California CPA with 25 years in audit and tax across Egypt, the United States and the UAE. The firm is kept small so that every client deals with the people who sign, not with a junior who reports to them. Every UAE engagement is quoted, read and signed at partner level, and every US return is reviewed at partner level before the associates sign it.

Common questions
The questions we are asked first.
- 01
Do I need an audit to renew my trade licence in Dubai?
In a free zone, very probably. Most zones ask for audited accounts every year, usually within three to six months of the year end. On the mainland the renewal itself does not ask for it, but Article 27 of the Commercial Companies Law does: every LLC and joint stock company must have its accounts audited every year, whatever its size. Send us your licence and we will check your zone's rule before you commit to anything.
- 02
Do UAE banks require audited financial statements for a loan or a facility?
Usually yes. Banks and lenders here generally ask for independently audited statements when they assess a business loan or a credit facility, and some ask for the auditor's registration number as well. We prepare the statements and the audit report in the form a lender expects.
- 03
What is the difference between external and internal audit, and do you do both?
Both, but they answer to different people. An external audit is an independent opinion on your financial statements, for the licence, the bank, the FTA and the shareholders. An internal audit looks at how the company actually runs, its controls and its risks, and reports to the owner rather than to a regulator. They are separate engagements with separate reports.
- 04
Do I have to register for UAE corporate tax, and by when?
Almost every business with a UAE licence has to register, including free zone companies and those that will pay nothing. The deadline depends on when your licence was issued, and a late registration carries an administrative penalty. We register you as a Tax Agent listed with the Federal Tax Authority, number 20024196, and tell you in writing what your first return period is.
- 05
Can one firm handle both my UAE and my US filings?
That is the reason this firm exists. The UAE audit and the corporate tax return are done here by a Ministry of Economy and Tourism registered auditor and an FTA Tax Agent. The US returns are prepared and signed by our US associates in Dallas and Laguna Hills, reviewed and coordinated by the firm's California licensed CPA, licence 147070. One set of books feeds both, so the two sides agree.
- 06
How much does an accountant cost in Dubai?
There is no price list, because the honest answer depends on the size of the books, the number of transactions and whether last year was closed properly. What we do commit to is a fixed fee, quoted in writing within one business day of seeing your licence and last year's accounts, before any work starts. No hourly billing, and if the scope changes we quote the change before doing it.
