Dubai, UAE – 19 February 2024 – The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has joined forces with 01GOV Platform in an exciting move to broaden the scope of the TAX 10 platform. This partnership is a part of the ‘UAE Innovates 2024’ initiative, which is a month-long celebration of innovation throughout February.
Promoting Innovation and Excellence with the Tax 10 Platform
Launched last year by the Authority, the Tax 10 platform was designed to foster innovation and encourage excellence among its workforce. The goal? To enhance the quality of services, boost both institutional and individual performances, and cultivate an innovative culture.

This partnership is also an integral part of the FTA’s commitment to enhancing the community during the ‘UAE Innovates 2024’. The FTA aims to inspire collaboration across government departments, local educational institutions, and regional tax authorities. FTA Director General, His Excellency Khalid Ali Al Bustani, emphasized the FTA’s commitment to fostering strategic collaborations to empower individuals in the community. Expanding Tax 10 Platform Access
Jassim Al-Haddad, Head of the FTA’s Innovation Team, explained that the expansion of the TAX 10 platform will promote regional cooperation. This will be achieved by granting platform usage licenses to tax authorities across the GCC countries, supporting the government and academic sectors, and providing access to representatives from UAE universities and government entities, as well as community members.
The First of Its Kind: TAX 10 Platform
The TAX 10 platform is a unique initiative in the MENA region. It offers a wealth of information about government innovation, showcases international best practices in the tax sector, supports innovation leaders and teams with specialised digital content and tools, and documents the FTA’s success stories.
Built on the latest technologies and smart programs, the TAX 10 platform encourages FTA employees to actively participate in shaping future tax-related experiences and initiatives. It also enhances all aspects of the Authority’s operational and service systems. The platform houses a rich digital observatory featuring over 3,000 documented global government innovation practices across 15 different fields, including taxes, financial innovations, government services, and future skills.
