Experience
- Ehab Shalaby is a distinguished economist and sustainability expert with over 20 years of experience in lecturing, research, and policy advising on Sustainable Development and climate change.
- He holds an MSc and Ph.D. from Cairo University and the Free University of Berlin, focusing on the informal sector’s economic impact and Energy Policy for Sustainable Development.
- Shalaby is a certified quality education manager and currently lectures at the Maastricht School of Management.
- He is also a certified sustainability reporting trainer from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and has trained over 300 sustainability ambassadors. His extensive
consultation work spans public and private sectors, including key contributions to Egypt’s INDCs report and the Sustainable Development Strategy. - Shalaby is the CEO of DCarbon Egypt and actively engaged in various sustainability initiatives, including serving on the board of trustees for the Vodafone Foundation and leading the “Law and Sustainable Development” conference, addressing vital legal and sustainable business matters.
